    Disrupted Narratives

The works of artists Caren Stansell and Miranda Mims Sawyer come together to create a dialogue around what it is like for each of them as women.
Caren's work deals with the all too common reality that one out of four women will experience domestic violence in their own homes. Her work addresses her own experience.

Miranda Mims Sawyer is an Upstate native and multi-media artist. Through a studio practice that combines a mixture of painting, printmaking, and additional media, she explores societal expectations placed on women.

Work will be on display from May 11th through June 21st, 2019.
